Ameritex was friendly and accommodating before and during our move, and I'd highly recommend them. Although our movers lacked hustle, they all had great attitudes and communicated throughout the move what the time/costs were. However, I’m giving them a 4 because Ameritex couldn’t lock in a specific time of arrival the day of the move. We had scheduled the move over 2 months prior, and they had no other moves on the day of our move (at least at that time) so I figured we secured 1st that day. The challenge was that our new apartment could only lock down the freight elevator for us in 3-hour increments. We ended up missing our allotted time and ended up accessing the main elevator, which added to the cost of the move by about 1.5-2 hours due to the entire building using them. Stressful, awkward and inconvenient to everyone. If I move again in the future, I’ll call them again, but if they couldn’t guarantee a specific time at least the day before the move, I’ll go elsewhere.

I was really disappointed in this moving company. They were super inflexible. They gave us a 7 hour show up window! And when we had an scheduling issue, we talked to a dozen different people and got different answers from each person. Finally at the actual move, They did bare minimum. Nothing got reset up or unwrapped from their plastic. And they moved half a dresser....The whole experience was not worth the money spent.

UPDATE: I called Ameritex after seeing their reply to my review. They said they were sorry I was missing a box and that they would open a ticket and investigate. I got an email this morning (8/2) that they “spoke with the movers and they do not remember seeing that box on the truck, nor do they still have any boxes in their truck”. I appreciate them working with me and opening a ticket, but they have not said anything about compensation for items lost, even though the box had definitely been in their possession during the move. I don’t think I will use them again going forward because I don’t want to risk losing any more of my things.I will start by saying, this company is fantastic before and during your move. They are extremely attentive and are quick to answer questions. The movers themselves got my move done in under 6 hours, including putting furniture back together. However, after the move was completed, radio silence. I discovered a week after my move that I was missing a box of very expensive craft supplies - tools, glass beads, wires - all things I use to make jewelry as a side hustle. I contacted Ameritex twice now over their "Contact Us" page to see if they were able to get in contact with the movers who did my move just to see if maybe they missed the box on the truck to no avail. I'm upset because the box lost was YEARS of collecting beads and tools that I know were packed according to their specifications and moved out of the old house, but somehow did not make it to the new house. Until I get a response from the company, I will keep my review at two stars.

Aug 1st. I was lucky to get Miguel and Alex for my move this morning. They were amazing and did an excellent job. I had a lot of stuff and they never stopped moving. I was kind of surprised that they worked so hard and made sure to get everything. I’m a very satisfied customer. Thank you

Beyond amazing service from start to finish….Hana and Levi helped me through the process and followed up with me after having to change reservations a few times due to unforeseen circumstances. The movings guys were A++++…I had a knee injury and was unable to move myself from a third floor apt…these guys moved us in less than 5 hours with a long drive to the new place from Dallas to Ft Worth I. Rush hour….They deserved a hefty tip. This is the second time I’ve used Ameritex Movers and I will continue to move with them and recommend them to others.

They took down my information wrong, so I was never communicated with after booking. I was told that our time would be 8am-11am on the phone, but then it was put in as 11am-3pm. Movers didn’t show up until 2pm. I had to cancel plans/appointments because of this that I now have to refigure. When I asked about a discount over the phone due to these issues, they just kept saying they were sorry about the mistakes.Update: The company called me and gave me a discount for my troubles. They were very easy to work with to resolve my issues.

The absolute best moving company. I called on the spur of time because Blueprint Moving Company out of Mansfield never showed to move me and Ameritex took the assignment within a few hours. They are very professional, wrap furniture like pros, and move swiftly in getting you where you need to go. Juan was my moving agent and I really appreciate how he and his counterpart took very good care in making certain my furniture was placed in the truck without damage. The fees were substantially lower than Blueprint and they keep you informed throughout the process. Thank you Ameritex for helping me out in my time of need. I will certainly be contacting you again on my next move.

Final cost came in as expected. There was great communication before and during the move, both from the move coordinator and the moving crew. They shared with us their ETA before arrival and arrived on time. They were fast, courteous, careful and polite. There was no damage to our possessions. I think the crews names were Michael, Rashon and Miguel (I'm sure I got the last two names wrong--my apologies, guys.) Well done and I highly recommend this company.

Miguel and Alex were absolutely amazing. They showed up promptly at 8am after I was given a window of 8-11am the previous day. We talked about the plan, and then they got straight to work. What would have taken me at least a day to do, they did in 3 hours. We were laughing and having fun the whole time. I had a couch I was going to leave by the dumpsters but they said they could drop it at goodwill for me which was a huge relief! The customer service and communication was impeccable. When we arrived at my new home, they put all my boxes exactly where I wanted them. Nothing was damaged, and it was a smooth process. The cost came out to exactly what I thought it would be. No weird fees. No fuss. Highly suggest Ameritex for your moving needs.

stay away from this company! they gave me a window of movers arriving in our contract of 2 pm to 5 pm. the movers showed up at 5:45 pm. they took zero accountability. they did not return phone calls in a timely manner. their manager, Julio, refused to make things right for me. Go elsewhere. i would give them a zero star rating if i could.

My move was 100% Awesome!!! Guido and his partner took down my bed wrapped all my fraglie items and handled my whole house with care!!!
